More rare childhood diseases like childhood glaucoma and retinal conditions may require long-term treatment to prevent blindness.
Usually, an Eye Examination involves vision testing and examination under a slit lamp
biomicroscope. Should a patient need a fundus (Retina) exam, dilating drops are required before the retina can be examined in detail. Further investigative modalities are needed if there are any specific eye problems noted during the eye exam.
Yes, we accept the insurance. We are impaneled with most TPA and insurance. Cashless and reimbursement facilities are available. ECHS facility for Ex-Army personnel is available too.

Eye surgery is needed for those who have cataracts, retinal detachments or bleeding,
squints, and a few other eye conditions. Other voluntary eye procedures are those that
involve Refractive procedures like Laser Vision Correction and Phakic Intraocular lenses.
On discharge from the surgery center, patients will be given the next review date.
Also depending on the type of incision and surgeon preference, some patients may be given a patch over the eye for a few hours.
Use protective glasses when riding in a car or walking outdoors. You can brush your teeth and shave. Activities such as reading, and watching television, are advised to be avoided for at least 2 weeks to help in early recovery. Most patients may resume light activities on the day after surgery.
Avoid Washing your hair and exposure to dusty environments. Activities such as walking and
everyday activities like cooking and household chores may be permitted under advisement.
Specific medicines in the form of tablets and drops will be prescribed after the surgery and advice about the drops will be given after the surgery. You can resume your normal activities after 1 week unless specifically advised by your doctor.
Continue medications for other conditions prescribed by your physician. Cataract surgery
does not mandate any special dietary restrictions, however, we advise a balanced light diet for a few weeks to prevent digestive issues and infections that may delay healing in the immediate post-operative period.
